On behalf of one of our major clients based in Brussels, we are actively looking for a Product Owner (Junior or Medior) to drive product discovery, backlogs, and application delivery workflows.
Mission & Responsibilities
In this dual-capability role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution teams to maximize product value.
Product Backlog & Discovery: Define user stories, prioritize features, and manage product backlogs aligned with business priorities.
Requirements & Cadrage: Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
Agile Execution & Delivery: Work closely with dev teams within Agile setups (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to ensure smooth sprint execution and release planning.
Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the main proxy between business units, end-users, and IT delivery teams.
Tracking & Analytics: Monitor product metrics, track delivery velocity, and manage feature rollouts using Jira and Confluence.
Required Profile
Technical & Methodological Skills:
Practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
Strong capability in functional analysis, user story writing, and backlog refinement.
Technical proficiency with tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
Solid understanding of web application lifecycles, APIs, and digital product delivery.
Language Requirements:
English: Professional proficiency (Minimum 3/4) AND
Dutch OR French: Professional proficiency (Minimum 3/4).
Seniority Criteria:
Junior Level (1+ year): Practical experience in backlog support, user story writing, or business analysis.
Medior Level (3+ years): Proven ability to autonomously own product backlogs and manage medium-scale digital products.
