On behalf of one of our major premium clients based in Brussels, we are actively looking for a skilled and versatile Service / Project Manager to oversee infrastructure, service operations, and application delivery workflows.
Mission & Responsibilities
In this dual-capability role, you will be responsible for both strategic project delivery and structured service lifecycle management. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage high-stakes web application lifecycles, and ensure that operational services closely align with business objectives and governance standards.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Service & Project Governance: Defining and managing project parameters through the creation of detailed Work Packages (WP), Project Management Plans (PMP), RACI matrices, and Gantt charts.
Service Management (ITSM): Operating within structured ITIL processes and utilizing ServiceNow to track, maintain, and optimize IT service delivery and support operations.
Methodological Execution: Applying Prince II methodologies for structured project environments alongside agile practices using frameworks like SAFe and DSDM.
Application Lifecycle Management: Monitoring the full end-to-end lifecycle of web applications, driving changes smoothly from development into production.
Tracking & Tooling: Building comprehensive dashboards, managing delivery timelines, and updating progress using MS Project Online, Jira, and Confluence.
Your Profile
Core Technical & Methodological Skills:
Structured Methodologies: Practical knowledge of Prince II and ITIL practices.
Agile Frameworks: Experience navigating and scaling inside Agile setups (SAFe, DSDM).
Tooling Ecosystem: Strong proficiency with ServiceNow, MS Project Online, Jira, and Confluence.
Application Savvy: Strong understanding of web application lifecycles, deployment tracks, and operational support.
Experience & Seniority Levels:
Junior: 1+ year of experience in IT project coordination or service desk management support.
Medior: 3+ years of experience autonomously driving medium-scale IT projects or managing application services.
Senior: 10+ years of experience commanding complex, multi-million euro IT services/projects, implementing scaling frameworks, and orchestrating steering committees.
Language Requirements:
English: Professional proficiency (Minimum 3/4) AND
Dutch OR French: Professional proficiency (Minimum 3/4)
