Digital Solution consultant in B2B
Mission
The purpose of your mission is to guide our beloved customers in using digital platforms in order to maximize their business success: efficiency, revenue, profit, market share. In a B2B context, you will deal with topics such as customer portal, complex digital commerce environment, product experience, value added services, and therefore your interactions may be with a broad range of people inside the customer organization: from customer service to sales team.
The main missions are:
- Define or contribute to a customer digital roadmap.
- Guide the client and the team on making the most out of the platform.
- Proactively engage with customers to guide them, and challenge them
- Translate problems and opportunities into functional (UI & process) solutions fitting the software landscape
- Analyse and translate business requirements into functional requirements and user stories in backlog
- Support the Product Owner in gathering requirements, feature requests
- Think together with technical expert on implementation plan
- Drive the development team on the product to develop or configure
- Connect with our subject matter experts to bring the most value
- Contribute to pre-sales effort with our sales team
You will often act as Proxy Product Owner, you will be helping to solve the HOW, and contribute proactively to the WHAT in digitization projects.
Internally, you will be asked to
- Report on assignment progress (planning, remaining effort, goals, achievements)
- Contribute to the collective knowledge (publicly or inside Smile)
- Participate pro-actively in the sales process
- Participate in the growth of other consultant (training, coaching on expertise domain)
- Build network with relevant consults & SME’s in- and outside of the Smile Group
- Keep domain knowledge up to date (training, research, collaboration with others)
- Make sure the advises given to customers are executables by leveraging from Smile’s employee expertise where and as much as possible
- Continuously work on creating new and updating existing offerings and methodologies.
- Collaborate with marketing on their activities by providing relevant input (written articles/blogs, speak at events, video content etc.)
Our ideal candidate
Must:
- You have a significant experience in a B2B environment as contributor in a digital transformation project
- You are solution driven, a functional understanding and you are keen to deep dive into the details
- Solve the HOW, contribute to the WHAT
- You have experience solutions such as: Dynamics, SAP / Hybris, Intershop
- Are fluent in English (C1 writing/speaking)
Plus:
- Experience with ORO Commerce or Magento in B2B
- Hands on experience in web development
- French or German in B2+
